CHARMING GOLDFINCHES -- flocking prior to roosting Maurice Baker

Each late afternoon this winter I am treated to the spectacle of flock or charm of up to sixty of one of our most colourful birds, goldfinches, flying round and gathering in the trees in front of my house before they go to roost in the tall evergreen bushes under the trees.
