Every spring when they have young to feed the great tits from the surrounding area become bold enough to trust me and take meal worms from my hand. This year I have been feeding four pairs of birds. They are not tame birds because when the young have become independent they revert back to their normal behaviour. It is a great feeling to think that you can win the trust of such beautiful small wild creatures like these
